Depositing funds by EFT is one of two (2) different methods offered by GT247.com to fund your account. For details on the other deposit method available (Credit card), please click on the link HERE

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is an action in which a person instructs his / her bank, usually via the online banking platform or facility of their bank, to transfer funds across to another bank account. Ie. the action is NOT taken on the deposit page of the my.gt247.com website.

To transfer the funds from your bank account to ours, you will need our GT247.com bank account details.

These details can be found on the 'Deposit' page of the my.gt247.com website, which you can:

1. Access directly via THIS link, OR

2. Navigate there by clicking on the stack menu (3 little horizontal lines) just to the left of the GT247 logo (as in the image below) and then selecting the Deposits option under the 'My Funds' group.

Please note: You will only see this menu option if you are logged in to the site.

On arrival on the deposits page, you will be greeted with the 2 payment options available:

  • Choose the EFT option
  • From the dropdown menu (as visible in the image below), choose the name of the banking institution you bank with. Ie. if you bank with ABSA, choose ABSA from the dropdown menu. To do everything possible on our side to ensure that your deposit goes through as quickly as possible, GT247.com have accounts with all major banks (ABSA, FNB, Nedbank, Standard Bank and Investec).Choosing the same institution will ensure a faster transfer of funds.
    • Capitec account holders should use FNB bank.
  • Should your bank not be listed, kindly make the payment into any one of the bank accounts, but note that processing time for the allocation into the Trading account will not be as quick as transfers between the same institution.

  • Once you select your bank name from the dropdown, the GT247.com bank details for that bank, together with the reference number you must use to transfer funds into that specific account, will all be displayed to you (as in the image above)
  • Armed with the GT247.com account details, you can now login to your bank and transfer funds from your bank account to ours

PLEASE NOTE:

REFERENCE - It is extremely important you use the correct account number as your reference to ensure the funds are allocated to the correct account without delay. The use of an incorrect reference number will mean we cannot allocate the funds and will most likely need to request a proof of deposit to prove the transfer. This could lead to lengthy delays in the allocation of funds and could affect your ability to trade.

For full details on what to use as your reference number, please read this FAQ article HERE
